OUR VISION

There is something wrong with how humans perceive the world, and our time to discover what that is, is running out. Our wilderness solo-hermitage role-play program (Maine) and Native American re-enactment campus (Azua, Dominican Republic) aim to speed-up the process of global recovery by raising up a new breed of hands-on philosophers, identifying them by their personal call & voice, rather than their PHD's (Are you being called by your god, your universe, your truth?  Do you have something to say to a broader audience?)

Our staff, experiencers and philosophers themselves, having followed their own intuitions to our organization, envision grassroots leaders who, with or without professional degrees, venture forth to claim the existential higher ground. As poet William Wordsworth suggested in his famous poem, 'The Tables Turned... let nature be your teacher', 1789.

Our mother (nature), and our father (universe), seeing the calamity now before us, wish to save us from ourselves; our mother is threatened and wishes to convey her fears and hopes with a cadre of caring beings who will join the ranks of guardians of the future.

Towards that end we immerse ourselves within our pedagogical immersions: Perennial Philosophy, Perennial Theology, Philosophy of Science, Indigenous Philosophy and related Service-learning (ecotherapy) models.

OUR MISSION

Our nonprofit college is very small; we only matriculate 20 students per year, on two international campuses - Maine, USA and Azua, Dominican Republic.  We must start small becase we are new, and our resources are limited.  The lands we use belong to several Moreu College directors, who happily grant us gratuitous, unlimited use - and to landowning neighbors, USA, and local governing bodies, DR, who see us as an investment in the land's greater purpose of ecotourism, increasing our wilderness access tenfold!

We are, as of today, the guardians of an estimated 1,000 acres; Moreu College privately controls only 70 of those acres, but those are more than enough to build our wilderness recreations, their outbuildings, farmsteads, and to explore nature with little outside interference.  On the outside (peripheral) lands, we have permission to create trails and to make camps, as long as no trace of them remain season-to-season: No permanent structures are allowed (And that, by our constitution, requires two certifications: WILDERNESS SAFETY and LEAVE-NO-TRACE environmental-hygiene-ethics.) Our collaborating friends are satisfied with this arrangement, and we can thus move forward to our greater mission of SOCIODRAMA TRANSFORMATIONS.

'If you build it, they will come.' (Field of Dreams: 1989).

While building this dream we experienced a baffling UAP/UFO sighting over our Azua property (February 2025), where an orange light entered our tiny farmhouse at the same time that a glowing (white) teardrop shaped object flew almost overhead.  I write this to underscore the mysterious phenomena which many of our staff have experienced in our personal lives, and which we believe will continue to occur as we secure our footing on post-disclosure reality, spilling to our student body, and globally, over every venue that touches nature with salvific reverence.

The Azua sighting is a strong motivational force telling us to persevere.

'We built it, and non-human Intelligence came calling!'

Our fourfold mission within our role-play immersions:

*  TO assist individuals with the enigma of their (often kept secret) PARANORMAL abilities, addressed by a dutiful study of Perennial Philosophy, Indigenous American Philosophy, and Service-Learning activities.

* TO assist individuals with any burden of trauma (childhood or otherwise) which may be central to their intrapersonal (psychic) abilities; while not counselors, we evaluate the suitability of our placements, and the eagerness of our students to participate in professional wellness care, if referred.

* TO assist individuals in their emergence as world-class philosophers, humanities teachers, and public speakers.

* TO provide lifetime access to our college (as vested alumnus).
